There seems to be a race for the November 30, 2012 date more than a year in advance. At least two producers have locked their films for this day: Ramesh Taurani’s Race 2 as well as Ajay Devgan‘s Son Of Sardar are scheduled to hit the screens on November 30, 2012.

Says director Abbas, “Race 2 is in the same genre and will be made on as grand a scale as the original. We will be shooting in Turkey and Cyprus next. The story has plenty of twists and turns and every character will have gray shades.” Having gone on floors earlier this year, Race 2 wrapped up its first schedule in Mumbai yesterday and now gears up for the next.
Race 2 is a sequel to the 2008 thriller Race.
