Desi Boyz is the Dark Horse of the year.

2-3 years back Akshay Kumar was the king of openers and he was responsible for consecutive HITs of his movies. But after that few bad moves & movies took him downwards and now again he is trying his force back to the TOP. He is still one of the most bankable star of Bollywood and no one can doubt his abilities. With Desi Boyz he might again come to the TOP. For Akshay in 2011, there is nothing much to talk about with release of Patiala House & Thank You, both biting to the dust.

Desi Boyz timing is very good. Akshay fan are waiting eagerly for him and hoping Desi Boyz has a good story to tell or at least be a total Paisa Wasool movie! Even John Abraham is partnering Akshay Kumar in Desi Boyz and having a good run, with Force making a forceful impact in Box Office. Akshay and John are coming together after super successful Garam Masala. Also Deepika Padukone badly needs a HIT after her fabulous start in Bollywood.

It is well known fact that Desi Boyz are not here to make path breaking movies and take Box Office by storm, but has few points to settle with its release.

• Akshay Kumar still one of the Kings of Bollywood and India Box Office.
• John Abraham needs to break in Top League of the Actors.
• Deepika Padukone is more an actress than model.
• Lastly everybody in tinsel town talking about Ra.One, Rockstar, The Dirty Picture & Don 2. Nobody is so much concerned about Desi Boyz and hope they are proved wrong.

As far as my concern Desi Boyz is the dark horse of the year and it might surprise us at the end of the year and place itself strongly in HIT category list of the year 2011.
