Ajay Devgn starts shooting for Son Of Sardaar

Almost a week after conducting recce in Patiala belt,
Ajay Devgn arrived at the royal city to start shooting for " Son Of Sardar" on Saturday evening. Devgn headed straight to Patiala after landing at Chandigarh airport. Looking relaxed, Ajay did not talk about the movie. Though he exhibited his excitement through a tweet.

"Since it's Ajay's home production he's treading cautiously," a source said. Local shoot person Pinderjit Singh said, "The unit is likely to camp in Patiala and other areas of Punjab for more than a month."


As soon as Ajay reached Patiala he started to work and was heard taking stock of preparations over the phone. Ajay is going to sport a turban in the movie, which directed by Ashwini Dhir and is an adaptation of Telgu film.


However, some alterations have been made keeping high-spirited nature of Hindi audiences. It's going to be Ajay's second outing as turbaned actor. Last when he sported pagdi was during
Raj Kumar Santoshi's 'The Legend of Bhagat Singh'.

We learnt that Ajay started to work actively on the project after
Akshay Kumar, with whom had had issues over the acquisition of movie's title, gave his consent. "The locales have been finalized and soon the shooting will be underway," said a source. Vindoo Singh, who is acting in "SOS", when contacted said, "I will join the shoot Sunday evening. Vindoo did not disclose about his role and just said its very interesting character.

Sonakshi Sinha
will be there in some days while Sanjay Dutt will start shooting for his portion in a month's time. The sites, which have been finalized for the movie, are some resorts and eating joints in the outskirts of Patiala. The buzz is that within some days Devgn family, including wife Kajol will join the gang. "We are yet to find out about their programme,"
