Aishwarya’s spokesperson said, “Certain sections of the media have recently carried stories on Aishwarya being miffed because of Kareena Kapoor stepping into the film after Aishwarya could not do the film.”
The spokesperson further added, “We would like to put on record for the final time that the necessary dates were given by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as per schedules but the producers/director put a halt to the shooting. The matter was thereafter left vague. We did not know whether the film was being stalled, delayed until resumed or shut down. We would like everyone to know that this is far from the truth. She was removed due to an implied prejudice after learning about her pregnancy”.
“We would like to request the media not to drag Aishwarya’s name regards Heroine as it is a closed chapter for her.”
