JAIPUR: Actor Abhishek Bachchan got injured while shooting for Rohit Shetty's film Bol Bachchan here on Wednesday morning. Screen legend Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek's father, sent a tweet saying: "Abhishek's had an accident on set in Jaipur, has just flown back .. 6 stitches near eye.. Is well.. Will take some days to recover"
He got a cut over his eyebrow and flew back to Mumbai. He will be back at the sets in a day or two, a source said.
During a scene being filmed at the City Palace on Tuesday morning, Bachchan fell onto a cycle rickshaw and was injured. "In this scene he was supposed to run behind the rickshaw to chase a person. He slipped while running and hit himself to the back side of the rickshaw," said a crew member.
The shooting was immediately called off and rest of the scenes involving Abhishek would be shot in a day or two. "On Thursday a few scenes with Ajay Devgan and other actors would be filmed," a source said.
